Is Abiola Ajimobi dead? Nigerians React over the death Rumor of Former Governor

Social media has been so busy over the death rumor of the former Governior of Oyo state, Abiola Ajimobi who has been reportedly sick over the time and was in comma.

Many social media users are asking if former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi is dead. Abiola Ajimobi named APC acting national Chairman

Some online reports claim that Ajimobi who was recently appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party died due to Coronavirus complications.

According to reports the former Governor died at the age of 70.

OsmnekNews Gathered that, the former lawmaker fell ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition.

He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.

Ajimobi was a former Managing director at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Company.

Though we cannot yet confirm if he is dead, below are some social media post that claim Ajimobi is dead;

@fisayosoyombo: A source who has never failed me in six years of knowing him has just confirmed to me the death, in Lagos today, of Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, due to underlying health conditions worsened by the Coronavirus.
