Pastor David Ibiyeomie, founder of Salvation Ministries, has claimed that Jesus Christ detested poverty and avoided associating with p00r people during his time on earth.
Speaking to his congregation, Ibiyeomie argued that Jesus’ de@th and resurrection were not just for salvation but also to deliver believers from poverty.
He insisted that remaining poor after embracing Christianity reflects a lack of spiritual understanding.
“Jesus never visited any p00r person’s house—check your Bible,” he said. “He visited Lazarus, who wasn’t p00r, and Zacchaeus, a wealthy sinner. He h@tes poverty—that’s the message.”
The pastor emphasized that while it’s acceptable to come to Christ in poverty, it’s wrong to stay that way.
