Jubilation as police rescue ex-AIG Hakeem Odumosu’s wife, recovers ransom
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have rescued Folashade Odumosu, the wife of A former Assistant Inspector General of Police, Hakeem Odumosu.
The victim regained her freedom on Wednesday, January 22, after police neutralized the kidn@ppers.
The rescue operation was led by the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo.
Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, who disclosed this on Thursday morning said police also recovered the ransom paid to the kidn@ppers as bait.
However, he refused to disclose the amount paid to the kidn@ppers or where exactly the victim was rescued.
The retired AIG’s wife, Folashade Odumosu was abducted last Thursday at the entrance of her residence in the Arepo, Owode Local Government Area of Ogun State.
The abductors took the former AIG’s wife through a swampy area to an unknown destination after dr+gging her out of her Lexus Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV).
