Popular Nigerian journalist, Kemi Olunloyo’s official Twitter account has been suspended by the Jack Dorsey-owned social media site.
The controversial media personality’s official account @KemiOlunloyo is no longer active, as at the time of filing this report.
The reasons for her suspension is yet to be ascertained but her tweets in the past few days have been an outright condemnation of the ongoing nationwide protest against police brutality in Nigeria.
One of her latest post of two days ago, saw her calling on the federal government to shutdown social media in the country as part of efforts to gag and put a hold on the #EndSARS protests.
Nigerians reacted to her suspension with excitement as many say she has been a stumbling block to the call for an end to police brutality.
