Lady flees home, calls out her abusive husband

An abusive man, identified as Simi Biliaminu Owolabi, has been called out by his wife, Henrietta, for always allegedly battering her when he’s drunk.

It was gathered that the couple’s marriage which is a year and a few months old and blessed with a daughter, has been nothing but sour. The latest incident occurred at their residence located at 11b, Aiyetolu street, Abule-Egba, Lagos.

“My husband drinks a lot and beats me everyday for no reason. I learned later after I got married, that this was the same thing he did to his previous wife that made her run away.

He’s always drunk whenever he beats me. I have reported to the human right NGOs, even involved soldiers to come to my plight but he’s currently nowhere to be found.

I hope the appropriate authorities come to my aid before this man finally kills me . I have left our home for my mother’s place for fear of my life,” she said
