Edo state Governor Godwin Obaseki has revealed that the Buhari-led administration printed 50 to 60 billion additional Naira for states to share last month.
Obaseki says Nigeria is a country always borrowing money without any means of paying back the money.
In a viral video online, Edo state Governor also disclosed that the money the country has borrowed from other countries and organizations will be in excess of 15 to 16 trillion by the end of 2021.
He also expressed fear that Nigeria might experience hyperinflation like Argentina, because oil is no longer bringing in much revenue like before.
Obaseki added that politicians are only focus on the upcoming election and not the economic situation of the country.
