Man runs amok, stabs his wife to death in Anambra
Anambra State Police Command have arrested one Kingsley Igwe, 35, for allegedly stabbing his 31-year-old wife, Oyinye Obi, to death with a Kitchen knife.
The unfortunate incident occurred in the early hours of Thursday, March 4, at the couple’s residence at Dueze street Otigba in the 3-3 Area of the state.
The command’s spokesperson, Haruna Mohammed, in statement said the suspect allegedly ran amok in circumstances yet to be ascertained and attacked his wife with a kitchen knife and inflicted multiple fatal injuries all over her body.
According to him, “Police detectives visited the scene and rushed the victim to Apex hospital for medical attention but was certified dead on arrival by a medical doctor.”
