Usifo Ataga Death: He’s not a philanderer, there’s more to story – Friend

Michael Usifo Ataga, the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, and director in Super Network Limited, has been allegedly murdered by his alleged sidechic.

The billionaire was declared missing on by his family and friends on Sunday, June 13 after he didn’t return to his home in Banana Island and wasn’t seen at his Victoria Island office.

Several efforts to reach Ataga proved abortive which alerted his wife and children, who live in Abuja. Unfortunately, his lifeless body was found on in a flat in Lekki phase 1 on Friday morning, June 18 which would have been his 50th birthday.

Also, several withdrawals had been made from his account by then. Ataga who is married to a manager in Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, reportedly met the sidechic two weeks ago and they started an affair.

In order to avoid nosy neighbours, Ataga allegedly rented an Airbnb in Lekki, Lagos, where he and his sidekick checked in to before his death.

Following missing reports, his family, friends and DSS in Abuja tracked down the owner of the Airbnb, who received payment from the sidechic’s bank account into which Ataga had previously made a transfer for the payment to.

On breaking into the apartment, Ataga was found dead with multiple stab wounds in his neck, chest and thigh. Also, 5 million Naira had been withdrawn from his account before he was killed.

The side chic was equally tracked down and arrested alongside the owner of the Airbnb. After the side chic left the apartment following the death of Ataga, several withdrawals was made from Ataga’s GTB account.

The withdrawals only stopped when an email asked for a change in his account details which led to GTBank putting an embargo on the account to prevent any further withdrawal.

Security guards at the rentals confirmed that no third party had visited the lovers besides a dispatch rider who made a delivery.

The side chic has been arrested and is the number one prime suspect in the murder case. Meanwhile, Investigations is still on.
