The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has detained socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, for allegedly ab¥sing the nation’s currency, Naira.
The businessman will be arranged before the Federal High Court in Lagos on Wednesday, April 17.
He will be arraigned before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on three counts bordering on ab¥se of naira, by allegedly spraying and tampering with the nation’s currency at a social event, contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.
The spokesperson for the EFCC, Dele Oyewale, confirmed his arrest in a chat with newsmen.
