Anonymous, a group of international ‘hacktivist’ group has claimed responsibility for bringing down the data base of the Department of State Services (DSS) and also threatened to shut down the Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) if the Government of Nigeria refuse to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu
The hacktivist’ group shared on their facebook page:
‘‘The Nigerian DSS trying to retrieve there Data site is a waste of time. Get Mr Kanu released immediately. We gave you time and the countdown is ongoing. The CBN would be shut down if you don’t act. You should know, we don’t give threats.
Not even NetStumbler can retrieve the Data base. You should know, the Anonymous has the most sophisticated hack tools in the world. You have tried the Nessus and failed
