The hope of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), to leave the custody of the Department of State Services, DSS soon may be dashed as judges of the Federal High Court begin their 2021 vacation on July 26.

Recall that following the rearrest and repatriation of the self-acclaimed IPOB leader, the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, presided by Justice Binta Nyako had slated July 26 and 27 for continuous hearing on his case after the fugitive jumped bail in 2017.

But in a circular on Monday by the Chief Information Officer of the Federal High Court, Catherine Christopher, the Federal High Court noted that the Judges would embark on vacation on July 26.
