Pastor and four others die as boat capsizes in Taraba

A Nigerian pastor, identified as Rev. Shedrack Bako, has d*ed, alongside four others, in a boat mishap that occurred in Taraba State.
According to Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Abdullahi Usman, the boat was conveying 14 passengers when it capsized.
The passengers, who boarded the boat from Mareniwo, in Ardo-Kola local government area of the State, were traveling to a village in Karim-Lamido local government when the incident occurred.
“We learnt that out of the fourteen passengers on board, nine were rescued and the whereabouts of the remaining five persons are unknown but we have dispatched our marines there,” he told Daily Post.
Bako, who was a pastor at Christian Reformed Church of Nigeria, was heading to his place of primary assignment.
