Policemen forget phone in student’s car after extorting him of N150K

Three undergraduate students of University of Port Harcourt have accused officers of Eagle Crack Squad of the Rivers State Police Command of extorting them of N150,000 after wrongfully accusing them of being yahoo boys.
One of the victims, Victor, revealed that he had driven out with his friend to get food for his sick girlfriend on the 16th of February, 2021, when the officers accosted them.
He said after several arguments, the officers collected their phones and threatened to take them to EFCC or use machete on them if they refused to bribe them.
He further explained that the officers later dragged them to an ATM booth were they made him withdraw N120k which is his daily ATM withdrawal limit. They also forced him to transfer N30k to an account provided by the officers.
However, one of the officer forgot his phone inside their car. Victor quickly switched it off so as have evidence against them. He has since appealed to the new Commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday, to help them recover their money and bring the culprits to book.
