British Royals Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are allegedly set to lose all their remaining royal patronages.
This came following the announcement that the couple have recorded a 90 miniutes ‘tell-all’ TV special with Oprah Winfrey.
According to reports, there is no going back for the couple after they stepped aside as senior royals a year ago.
The Queen has also asked the couple to relinquish their links with any organisations passed down through the Royal Family, which means that Harry would be stripped off his three honorable military titles.
Also, his patronages with the Rugby Football Union, Rugby Football League and the London Marathon will be stripped off according to reports the Daily Mail.
Meghan will also have to step down as patron of the National Theatre, a position she was handed the role in 2019, which the Queen had previously held for 45 years.
Meghan and Harry’s links with the commonwealth through the royal family are also expected to be stripped off by the Queen.
It was confirmed that Meghan had agreed to a 90 minutes interview with Opray Winfrey and the programme has already been recorded.
Opray and Meghan are reportedly friends and neighbors in California. The media mogul was even in attendance at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding in 2018.
According to Daily Mail, the interview will air next month on CBS and the couple will discuss their move to the United States in March 7.
The interview will be staged in two parts, with Meghan first speaking about everything from ‘stepping into life as a royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure’.
Then Meghan will be joined by Harry and the couple will speak about their move last year and their future. Titled of the programme is ‘Oprah With Meghan And Harry: A CBS Primetime Special’.
This will be the first time the couple will be speaking publicly about their decision to leave Britain and step down from their working roles in the Royal Family
