Buckingham Palace has announced on Sunday that Queen Elizabeth II has tested positive for COVID-19
She is suffering from “mild, cold-like symptoms” and is receiving medical attention. The palace said that the 95-year-old British monarch will continue with light duties at Windsor Castle in the week to come, unless her symptoms change.
“Buckingham Palace confirm that The Queen has today tested positive for Covid.
Her Majesty is experiencing mild cold-like symptoms but expects to continue light duties at Windsor over the coming week. She will continue to receive medical attention and will follow all the appropriate guidelines,” the statement read.
