Sixteen people were on Wednesday rescued alive from Okrika Kalio River after a passenger boat capsized in Rivers State.
According to the driver, the accident which occurred around 1.30pm between the creeks of George-Ama and Kalio-Ama, was caused by some refuse dumped in the river.
