Teenager Girl Becomes Kano Governor For 20 Minutes To Mark Int’l Girl Child Day

14-year-old Atika Aminu Yankaba on Monday became the governor of Kano State for 20 minutes to mark the International Girl Child Day.

During her short tenure, Yankaba pointed out the need for more investment in the education sector and to give priority to ICT education.

Yankaba took over power around 12 noon and handed over to Governor Umar Ganduje at 12:20 p.m.
