Social media giant Twitter has reportedly experienced shutdown as thousands of users can not access the platform.

Some users across the UK and other part of the world, have reportedly been blocked from accessing the platform.

On Friday, April 16, the Twitter’s support team posted: ‘Tweets may not be loading for some of you. We’re working on fixing a problem and you’ll be back on the timeline soon.’

Also, some of its Web users can not access the platform and were met with a message saying: ‘Something went wrong. Try again.’

While App users received an error screen saying: ‘Tweets aren’t loading right now’.

Users who managed to post on the site reported problems ranging from being unable to tweet to not being able to log-in.

37 per cent of App users with Apple’s operating system is reportedly facing the problems, while 15 percent of Android users are having the same issue.

This is the second time that the social media network is experiencing such outrage. The first shutdown happened in March after the platform crashed
