Two female jobseekers rescued from human body parts dealers in Port-Harcourt
Two Nigerian ladies have been rescued after body parts dealers kidnapped them on there way to Port Harcourt in search of jobs.
The women were stripped naked after they were kidnapped and taken to a forest by two men in a bus. There they watched others whose families could not afford a ransom slaughtered.
Nude photos of the two women, identified as Blessing and Praise, were taken and sent to their families. Members of their families were also ordered to pay the ransom of 5 million Naira or watch their loved ones die.
The victims were slated to be killed yesterday, May 28. Due to desperation by the families, the nude photos of the victims were shared on Twitter and the state governor and the police were tagged to help rescue the girls.
Israel Joe, a Niger Delta activist, who raised awareness about the women’s abduction, said the kidnappers later accepted 200,000 Naira after the money was raised by social media users
