Two Rescued as Three-Storey Building Coll@pses in Lagos Island

Two people were rescued on Sunday after a three-storey building under construction coll@psed at 4, Agarawu Street, on Lagos Island.
The incident occurred in the afternoon, tr@pping the victims under the rubble before they were pulled out by emergency responders and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, said no lives were lost. He added that the area had been secured by emergency services and normalcy restored.
Hundeyin also noted that relevant agencies have been alerted and are expected to begin a full investigation into the cause of the building collapse.
