UBEC Announce the beginning of “School-To-Farm” programmes in schools

 The Executive Secretary of the Universal Basic Education Commission, Dr Hamid Bobboyi, on Tuesday announced the introduction of the “school-to-farm” program in basic schools.

Explaining the program is meant to boost agricultural development in Nigeria and to inculcate practical agricultural skills amongst pupils of primary schools and junior secondary schools.

Bobboyi made these claims at the three days workshop on the implementation of the framework of the program in Kaduna.
