The youths in Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina and Zamfara have rallied against the ongoing nationwide campaign against police brutality and extortion.
The youths held up various placards with opposing inscriptions as;
”Bringing SARS to an Ends means
More Kidnaping,
More Robbery
More Yahoo.
Are you ready for all of these”
Another placard read;
”Police are always there to keep our society safe”

According to the youths, they want the Special Anti-Robbery Squad reformed and not disband.
However, Youths from southern part have continued to protest against the gross human rights abuse, including extrajudicial killings, intimidation and harassment of citizens, by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
