Why South-East should produce Nigeria’s next President – Yul Edochie
Popular Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has said that the South-East should produce Nigeria’s next President.
He explained that for the sake of fairness and equity the region should be supported to produce the country’s next leader.
“The next President of Nigeria should come from the South-East in fairness and equity. That’s just the truth and that’s how it should be,” Edochie stated in a video broadcast shared via his Instagram page on Monday.
His statement was shocking to many as he is known as a staunch supporter of the incumbent President, Bola Tinubu, who has expressed interest to seek reelection in 2027.
Edochie has repeatedly urged Nigerians to endure economic hardship under President Tinubu, claiming that they will start enjoying the benefits of the administration’s economic reforms soon.
