Religion I’ll die on a Sunday after eating pounded yam – Adeboye predicts his death Osmek News August 8, 2025 1 min read I’ll die on a Sunday after eating pounded yam – Adeboye predicts his death The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, has given a vivid prediction of his death. Adeboye has said he will die on Sunday after church service and eating pounded yam. The revered cleric stated this while speaking at RCCG’s ongoing International Convention themed “The Overcomers”. According to Adeboye, death does not always come through prolonged illness. “I will die on a Sunday after attending service, eat my beloved pounded yam, and then pass on without any sickness,” Adeboye said. Adeboye had previously shared this same vision two years ago. Delivering a sermon titled “Possess Your Possessions,” he urged believers to actively claim what rightfully belongs to them through Christ.
