Nollywood: The Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning following the death of popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Seun Confirm. The actor reportedly passed away from complications related to high Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
The news was announced on Thursday by his colleague, actress Jaiye Kuti, through an emotional post on Instagram. Expressing her grief, Kuti described the loss as deeply painful and prayed for God’s comfort for the late actor’s family.
Her message reflected shock and sorrow over the timing of the death, adding that his memory would be cherished.
Seun Confirm was widely recognised for his contributions to Yoruba-language films and was admired for his on-screen talent.
His passing has sparked an outpouring of condolences from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry.
In a separate development within Nollywood, actress Destiny Etiko has reconciled with her adopted daughter, Chinenye Eucharia, ending a three-year rift.
Eucharia revealed on August 12, 2025, that Etiko had resumed following her on Instagram, a gesture that marked the renewal of their bond.
The two had fallen out publicly in 2022, after which Etiko openly distanced herself and offered support to another adopted daughter.
