Former Big Brother Naija housemate and media personality, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has sparked conversations online following her remarks on the Outside the Box podcast.
Speaking on the show, Tacha urged young women not to commit to only one man while dating. According to her, it is safer to keep options open rather than investing everything in a single relationship.
“I tell girls, don’t be out there dating just one man. And I’m still saying it outrightly, you need three other boyfriends in your life,” she said.
Clarifying her statement, Tacha noted that she was not encouraging promiscuity but rather advising women to maintain multiple talking stages to avoid disappointment.
“I am not saying sl++p with all the boyfriends but at least let it be that there are other people you are talking to, because even that person you’re talking to — they say the heart of man is w+cked — so you never really know,” she added.
Her comments have since stirred mixed reactions on social media, with some fans agreeing that it is a protective strategy in modern dating, while others criticized the advice as promoting distrust in relationships.
