A dog groomer-turned-wedding photographer agreed to shoot a friend’s wedding for just $250.
He worked from 11 AM to 7:30 PM in a hot venue with no AC, and was given no food or water. At 5 PM, he asked for a 20-minute break to eat, but the groom refused, saying: “Either you’re the photographer or you leave without pay.”
Frustrated and dehydrated, the photographer deleted all the wedding photos in front of the groom and walked out, saying:
not your photographer anymore.”
The story blew up on Reddit in 2021, going viral with massive online support for the photographer. Critics slammed the couple for underpaying and mistreating a friend, while others debated whether deleting the photos was the right move.
