In fulfillment of his campaign promise, the Chairman of Bonny Local Government Area in Rivers State, Hon. Abinye Blessing Pepple, has empowered Ms. Jumbo Amie Bernard, a groundnut seller within the Council Secretariat, with the sum of N500,000.
Hon. Abinye Pepple explained that he observed Ms. Jumbo Amie’s resilience and dedication during the recent campaigns and decided to support her business.
Presenting the cash support on behalf of the Chairman, the Vice Chairman, Mrs. Ibinyefagha Alabere, commended Ms. Jumbo Amie’s hard work and encouraged her to remain consistent.
She added that the gesture was aimed at helping her expand her trade and improve her livelihood.
