Nottingham Forest had late last night sacked Santos as manager of the first team.
The Premier League took the decision less than two weeks after their 3-0 home defeat to West Ham United.
However, according to Crook, Mourinho who was sacked as Fernabahce manager recently, former Tottenham Hotspur boss, Ange Postecoglou, and Fulham boss, Marco Silva are the three coach in Nottingham’s list to replace Santos.
“Ange Postecoglou one of the early front runners to replace Nuno at #NFFC,” wrote on X.
“Marco Silva also admired by the hierarchy there and Jose Mourinho another option, although I understand Edu and Marinakis want a more progressive playing style, which was one of the issues with Nuno.
