United Capital release names and photos of six staff who died in Afriland Towers fire outbreak
The United Capital Plc has released the names and photos of six of its staff members who d!ed in the fire outbreak that rocked Afriland Towers in Lagos, on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.
In a statement released via its X handle, today September 22, the organization gave the names of the deceased as Jesutoni Shodipo, Kehinde Adeoye, Ndidi Osaemedike-Okeke, Olumide Oyefodunrin, Opeyemi Oloyede, and Rebecca Adenuga.
The management described the loss as “immeasurable,” noting that the late employees were an integral part of the company and its family.
It added that preparations are underway for a memorial service to honour the lives of the departed staff and mark their passing “with dignity and solemnity.”
