American music producer Metro Boomin found not guilty on all four counts of rape and sexual battery

Metro Boomin, the Grammy-nominated producer behind hits with Drake, Future, and 21 Savage, has been cleared of a s+xual a+sa¥lt lawsuit filed against him.

A Los Angeles jury on Thursday returned a verdict of not guilty on all four counts of r+pe and s+xual battery brought by Vanessa LeMaistre.

“I’m grateful and thankful to God that I can finally put all of this nonsense behind me,” Metro said after the ruling. “Based off of how I treat others and represent myself, never in a million years would I have thought I could be accused of such a disg¥sting and he+nous act.”

LeMaistre, who filed the lawsuit in October 2024, claimed she met Metro (real name Leland T. Wayne) in Las Vegas in 2016, alleging he s+xually a+sa¥lted her after she consumed alcohol and Xanax, and later became pregnant, leading to an ab%rtion. Her suit also cited lyrics from Metro’s 2017 track Rap Saved Me as referencing the alleged incident.

The trial opened Tuesday, but by Thursday the jury unanimously sided with Metro. “From the beginning I have said these allegations were false and that I would not be a part of a shakedown,” he said. “She att+cked who I am as a person and how I was raised. I would never do what she accused me of to anyone. I am deeply thankful to my legal team, loved ones, the jury, and everyone who stood by me.”

His attorney, Lawrence C. Hinkle II of Sanders Roberts LLP, added: “We are extremely grateful for the jury’s careful consideration. The allegations were frivolous and unequivocally false. Today’s verdict confirms what Mr. Wayne has always said—the claims were completely fabricated.”
