Fulham Hosts Independence Day Party for Nigerian Players and Staff
English Premier League club, Fulham FC, organised a special Independence Day celebration for its Nigerian players and staff to mark Nigeria’s 65th anniversary of freedom from Britain.
The event, which held at the club’s Motspur Park training ground, brought together members of Fulham’s small Nigerian community alongside their teammates.
Fulham currently has three Super Eagles stars in its squad for the 2024/25 season Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze all of whom attended the get-together. They were joined by some non-Nigerian colleagues as the club showed solidarity with Nigeria on its national day.
Pictures from the colourful Independence Day party were shared by the club.
