“If I’ve cheated on you 20 times, should I confess all 20 or just two?” — Comedian Tejubabyface reveals his response to his wife after her reaction over a viral statement he made

Popular Nigerian podcaster and comedian, Teju Oyelakin, better known as Tejubabyface, has shared details of a tense conversation he had with his wife following his controversial comments about che@ting and confession in marriage.

Speaking in a recent episode of his podcast, Tejubabyface revealed that his wife confronted him in the kitchen after seeing a clip where he advised that people who che@t should not confess to their partners if they truly want to save their marriage.

According to him, his wife asked whether he genuinely believed what he said. In response, he decided to “make it practical.”

“I told her, let’s assume I’ve che@ted on you 20 times over our 13 years of marriage — should I confess all 20 or just two?” he recounted. “Because once I start holding things back, it’s no longer a true confession, it’s a lie.”

He went on to explain that full confession could potentially destr%y a marriage rather than heal it, as it would open the door to endless p@inful questions and suspicions.

“Before the confession, you were happy, blissfully unaware. But once I confess, your world shatters. Does that confession heal the marriage or destr%y it?” he asked rhetorically.

Tejubabyface acknowledged that some might argue that a person who che@ts repeatedly isn’t ready for marriage, but insisted that wasn’t the point of his discussion.

“If your goal is to heal and keep that marriage together, then don’t confess just to satisfy your conscience and end up breaking your spouse,” he said.

His comments have since sparked widespread debate online, with many divided over whether honesty or discretion is the better path when it comes to infidelity.
