Former Big Brother Naija housemate Beauty Tukura has opened up about the intense emotional crisis she faced following her disqualification from the reality show, describing it as the lowest moment of her life.
Speaking in a candid reflection, she revealed that the backlash she received online, particularly on Twitter, left her feeling overwhelmed and convinced that nothing she said would be understood. According to her, the relentless criticism made her feel as though viewers “wanted to cr¥cify” her, leaving no room for growth or grace.
She admitted that the shame she felt at the time kept her from seeing her parents, who were desperately trying to reach her. Despite knowing how emotional she is, they continued to send messages of love and support, reminding her she was valued at home.
The former housemate disclosed that the cyberb¥llying pushed her to a dark place where she contemplated ending it all. She said the judgment from strangers who knew her only by a single mistake strengthened her feelings of despair.
However, she credited her fans for helping her pull through the difficult period.
Despite the widespread criticism, she said there were still a few supporters who consistently sent encouragement and kindness, giving her reasons to hold on.
“Those messages kept me going,” she shared, adding that the experience has shaped her focus on love and personal growth since leaving the house.
She affirmed that although the period following her disqualification was the most painful chapter of her life, it also marked the beginning of her emotional healing.
