T%rrorists K+ll Ex-Councillor, Abd¥ct Two Sons in Adamawa Community
T%rrorists on Monday launched a d+adly att+ck on Kirchinga community in Madagali Local Government Area of Adamawa State, k+lling a former councillor and abd¥cting his two sons.
The victim, Hon. Thlama Sini, a former councillor representing Kirchinga Ward, was reportedly taken alongside his children during the late-night raid. Local sources said the attackers later k+lled him and escaped with the boys.
Kirchinga, the home village of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has endured repeated t%rrorist incursions over the years, making the latest a§§ault particularly shocking for residents and a further blow to the area’s fragile sense of security.
Family sources told SaharaReporters that the t+rrorists stormed Sini’s home and ordered him to follow them into the forest with his sons.
“He told them he was diabetic and hypertensive and could not make the journey into the forest, and instead asked them to name their price,” a family source said.
According to the sources, the att+ckers rejected any negotiation, led Sini to the outskirts of the village, and sh@t him d+ad before fleeing with the boys.
Authorities have yet to release an official statement as search efforts for the abd¥cted children continue.
