Abia South Senator, Eyinnaya Abaribe, has dumped the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, for the African Democratic Congress, ADC.
Abaribe made the announcement on Wednesday, in Enugu shortly after former Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mr Peter Obi, formally joined the ADC.
OSMEK NEWS gathered that Abaribe had joined APGA in 2023 after leaving his previous party to contest the Abia South senatorial seat.
The lawmaker declared his full alignment with the ADC, describing Obi as his political leader.
“Let me also announce that I have resigned from the All-Progressive Grand Alliance
“So as of now, I am fully in ADC. Following my brother and our leader, Mr Peter Obi, I wish all of us well, and I know that we’re going to get there,” Abaribe said.
