The Opobo Kingdom has announced the passing of its monarch, HRM, King (Dr.) Dandison Douglas Jaja, Jeki V, the Amayanabo and Natural Ruler of Opobo Kingdom.
Following his demise, the kingdom has declared four days of mourning, during which all business activities within the kingdom will be suspended.
The mourning period begins from the morning of Wednesday, December 31.
The Opobo Kingdom has called on residents and sons and daughters of the kingdom to observe the mourning period in honour of the late monarch.
