Super Eagles Ademola Lookman Dismisses On-Field Confrontation with Osimhen During Mozambique Match, Says It Was Merely a Pitch Discussion

Ademola Lookman has dismissed talk of tension with teammate Victor Osimhen following a brief on-pitch exchange during the AFCON tournament.

How are you enjoying the AFCON so far the interviewer asked

“It’s been great, team is improving every single day. I scored goals today,” Lookman said after the match, reflecting on his performance and the team’s progress.

When asked if he had spoken to Osimhen since the incident, he replied: “No, I haven’t seen him yet.”

Clarifying the situation on the field, he added: “Nothing happened. We were just discussing on the pitch, that’s it.” Asked about whether addressing the exchange would help the team, Lookman said: “I don’t know what the big issue is.”
