Ademola Lookman has dismissed talk of tension with teammate Victor Osimhen following a brief on-pitch exchange during the AFCON tournament.

“It’s been great, team is improving every single day. I scored goals today,” Lookman said after the match, reflecting on his performance and the team’s progress.

When asked if he had spoken to Osimhen since the incident, he replied: “No, I haven’t seen him yet.”
Clarifying the situation on the field, he added: “Nothing happened. We were just discussing on the pitch, that’s it.” Asked about whether addressing the exchange would help the team, Lookman said: “I don’t know what the big issue is.”

Looking ahead, the forward emphasized the team’s focus on the next stage. “The finals of the game is something to look forward. Another big battle awaits us, we need to be ready,” he said.
