President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Dr Olugbemisola Titilayo Odusote as the director-general of the Nigerian Law School. Her tenure is set to commence on January 10, 2026, for a four-year term.

Dr Odusote’s appointment is historic, as she becomes the first female to lead the institution since its establishment. She brings extensive experience in legal education and administration, with a proven track record in advancing academic standards and professional development within the legal sector.
Under her leadership, the Nigerian Law School, responsible for preparing law graduates for the Nigerian Bar, is expected to see reforms and innovative approaches to legal training nationwide.
