Popular streamer IShowSpeed has stirred fresh reactions online after declaring Nigerian jollof rice superior to its Liberian counterpart.
While sampling Liberian jollof during his recent visit, Speed rated the meal “eight out of ten” but described it as slightly misplaced when compared to the Nigerian version.

“This jollof rice, I’ll give it an eight out of ten. But I have to be honest, it’s good, but I think Nigerian is better. I gotta be honest,” he said.
His comment made the crowd shout in defeat and has since reignited the long-running jollof rivalry among African countries. With many Nigerian fans celebrating his verdict, others continue to debate which nation truly makes the best jollof.
