According to a Family member, Mrs Taiwo, who spoke with Punch, she said, I don’t know why they keep bashing Femi. No one really knows what went on in that marriage. Femi went through a whole lot and has chosen to be silent. Tayo had knowledge that Femi personally acquired those properties with loan. She also knew about the recovery of these properties by the bank 7 months ahead. Those properties belong to him alone and he is paying heavy principal with interest.

Immediately, the bank came for recovery, Femi moved her, many members of her family staying in the house and staff members to a short let apartment which he fully paid for. He also told her to get an apartment for rent no matter the cost, he will pay.
He was even considering how to assist her with the property he bought for her. In 2022, Femi bought her the land right beside her shop. Her current shop is 308B, ****, the land he bought for her in her own name is 308A. He believed that would be her backup only for him to be informed by her just after the bank foreclosure that she had sold the property and spent the money. He has never stopped monthly upkeep to her for his son.

This is a man i know loves his children dearly. Just few days before the bank foreclosure, I saw him post on his status where he visited his son in school and they were sharing k+sses. He has never stopped caring for his child and in extension the mother. Last year, i’m aware his son had to travel to India for a procedure where he spent about $50,000. You won’t hear him talking about this because he is a family man. The narrative been spread about him and the family is wrong. Let’s be fair in our judgement. No one prays for a broken marriage. It’s unfortunate but women don’t tell each other the truth.
