Bandits Strike Kwara Border Community, K+ll Forest Guard in Ambush
Suspected b@ndits have k+lled a forest guard identified as Samuel during a vi%lent att@ck on Koro community in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
The incident reportedly occurred after forest guards received intelligence about a possible invasion by armed men believed to be b@ndits. Acting on the information, the operatives moved into the area to pre-empt the att@ck but were ambushed by the assa+lants.
During the confrontation, Samuel was sh+t d+ad. Residents said the att@ckers, who were heavily armed, later set more than five motorcycles ablaze, heightening fear in the community.
Koro community, which borders Egbe in Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, has witnessed growing security concerns in recent months.
