Several reactions have trailed the comment that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu made about the former governor of Rivers state and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike after the conclusion of the Abuja Municipal Area Council Election.
The statement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of DAILY TRUST on Sunday, February 22, 2026.
This is coming after the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, announced the candidate of the All Progressive Congress as the winner of AMAC election.
In the report that surfaced online, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu praised the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.
The President stated that the APC was able to win because of the performance of Nyesom Wike in FCT.
Here is what DAILY TRUST wrote on its official X handle;
“President Tinubu commends the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, for his remarkable achievements in the territory, which have yielded political dividends to the governing All Progressives Congress, APC”.
