Sanders said, “President Trump, together with his far-right extremist ally Benjamin Netanyahu from Israel, has started an illegal, planned, and unconstitutional war.”
“Unfortunately, Trump is risking American lives and money to help Netanyahu achieve his long-term goal of getting the United States involved in a war with Iran.”
He added that “the Senate needs to meet right away and vote on a pending War Powers Resolution,” which he will strongly support.
