Nigerian singer Fido has revealed that he once earned nearly ₦1 billion from music within a single month, a statement that has sparked widespread reactions online.

The revelation came during a livestream conversation with content creator Shank, who asked the artist about the highest amount he had made in a month specifically the kind of figure that made him certain he would never stop singing.
Responding, Fido said, “Omo almost a billion naira, yes, no cap. With the spending and income, almost a billion naira.”
