Adam Hall, 43, has been sentenced to life imprisonment after a UK court found he deliberately infected seven people with HIV, including two teenage boys. He will serve a minimum of 23 years.
The offences occurred between 2016 and 2023 in Newcastle, where Hall targeted vulnerable young men through online platforms and bars. He was convicted of grievous bodily harm against seven victims, four of whom were also r@ped.

Prosecutors said Hall, diagnosed with HIV in 2010, repeatedly ignored medical advice to take treatment and disclose his status to s+xual partners. He refused medication, falsely claimed compliance, and knowingly exposed victims to infection.
The court heard he deliberately sought vulnerable victims, with prosecutors describing his actions as a “campaign of r@pe” intended to transmit HIV.
Judge Edward Bindloss condemned his conduct as intentional and deceitful, noting he showed no regard for victims and failed to inform them even after the a§saults. He rejected claims that HIV was not serious harm, describing it as a lifelong, irreversible condition requiring continuous treatment.

Victims described severe emotional trauma and lasting impact on their lives. Hall was labelled a dangerous offender posing a high risk to the public, while police confirmed that more victims have come forward and investigations are ongoing.
