Veteran Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Oby Kechere, widely remembered for her role as “Ms Koi Koi” in the classic film Aki na Ukwa, has passed away.
Her d+ath was confirmed on Saturday by Uche Agbo, the National President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria. According to him, the actress d+ed on April 27, 2026, following a prolonged illness.
