Actress Didi Ekanem has shared her views on marriage, infidelity, and emotional boundaries in a video posted on her Instagram page, stressing that ch+ating can never be justified in a marriage, especially for a woman.

In her words, “Why stay in a marriage to ch+at when you can simply walk away. As a woman, ch+ating will never ever look good on you, no matter how people try to defend it”

She questioned why anyone would remain in a troubled marriage to the point of infidelity instead of walking away with dignity.

Didi also emphasized that people should not endure relationships to the point of losing themselves, but rather leave when things are no longer working.

“Why should you have to endure so much to get to the point where you have to ch+at? Why didn’t you walk away when you started feeling uncomfortable in the marriage? I understand the concept of trying to make my marriage work. You don’t have to endure to the point of losing yourself. If the marriage is no longer working, leave with dignity instead of destroying it”
