Keir Starmer Breaks Down in Tears While Announcing Resignation as U.K. Prime Minister, Andy Burnham Tipped as Leading Successor

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced his resignation as both Prime Minister and leader of the Labour Party, bringing an end to a tenure that began after Labour’s decisive victory in the 2024 general election.
